Jay's Musical Interlude

"They don't tell me anything--I just sing here."

A picture taken of me in the distance last week...

About Me:

I'm a once and future student of the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana, though I am currently enrolled at Parkland College, Champaign. I direct the 6:00 choir of St. John's Catholic Chapel--an awesome group of choristers if there ever was one...I also play the trombone, act and sing and serve on the Executive Board for the Christian Theater Music Club at the university, too.

I'm from a little village in the hills of south-western Illinois called Meppen. Well, not originally--I was actually born in Jacksonville, Florida, but that's a long story and long stories are totally inapropriate for a homepage, so I will only tell it to you if you know me personally, or if you e-mail me asking about my secret origins.

I am a big fan of computer games, most notably Diablo, Warcraft II, and Starcraft--but not excluding AD&D stuff, TIE Fighter, a MUD (Multi-User Dungeon) called Nightfall, and the Dragon Warrior games for the NES. I'm also a big fan of a New York band by the name of They Might Be Giants. Can anyone say "nerd?"

Okay, if you actually have to read most of this stuff, I'm sorry. My page is currently under construction, and I'm trying a few things out, just for kicks. But, I waited 'til near the end of the page to tell you this. <evil laughter>

The big gun is part of a tribute to my friend, Alex Dickson. Not that she's dead--she's just cool. Have gun, will travel!
